Differences Between Ancestry.com and Ancestry Library Edition

Users of Ancestry Library Edition need to be aware that there are differences between the personal subscription version of Ancestry.com and the “library edition” available for onsite use at many libraries and genealogical organizations.

Differences occur in both “user experience” and “databases/ collections.” For “...a list of major features and functionality in Ancestry.com that is not included in Ancestry.com Library Edition as well as “...certain databases or collections that are available in Ancestry.com, but are not included in Ancestry Library Edition, use one of the following links:

It should be noted that the ProQuest document (revised July 2011) lists only the key differences - not all differences.

You may want to download or print this document for future reference.
